Job summary

SwapClear, a flagship service of LSEG, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in London, UK, operating in a hybrid model. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and modernising CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure provisioning to accelerate delivery.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with GitLab/Jenkins, AWS, containers, and AI-assisted tooling to ensure security, resilience and scalable operations across production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong hands-on DevOps and Cloud experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, YAML pipelines.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling in software engineering or DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform).
• Develop and maintain containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security; ensure compliance.
• Mentor and guide team members; drive onboarding of new tools and AI-assisted methods.
