Job summary

London Stock Exchange is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for the full CI/CD pipeline in cloud environments. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and supporting automation software and environments.

You will work with global teams to advance deployment automation, drive improvements, and resolve issues through collaboration and strong scripting and cloud-platform skills.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and app development.
• Solid Linux environment knowledge and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, including Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Ability to test and debug code with a focus on TDD.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the full CI/CD pipeline from design to deployment in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with global teams to design, develop, test and support automation software and test environments.
• Engage in regular peer reviews and provide third-level support to stakeholders.
• Investigate issues and balance client requirements with day-to-day development work.
• Maintain and improve deployment automation to accelerate product delivery.
