Lorum in London is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and improve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for our clearing platform. You will work with backend engineers and Security to make production safer, more observable, and recoverable.

You will design AWS infrastructure as code, run pipelines, handle on-call responsibilities, and drive resilience and compliance initiatives across a hybrid 3-days/week in-office model.

Competenze

• Extensive experience operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS (senior level).
• Strong Terraform: modules, state, and workspaces.
• Practical Atlantis experience for Git-driven Terraform automation.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Workflows.
• Solid Linux, networking and container basics (Docker); Kubernetes/ECS familiarity.
• Testing and automation mindset for infrastructure checks.
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Security/compliance awareness: IAM, VPC, KMS, secrets management.
• A clear communicator; able to drive cross-functional operational work.
• Able to work hybrid, 3 days/week in London office

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure as code with Terraform and safe Git workflows.
• Build and run GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test, release, and infra deployment.
• Run production services: on-call, incident response, post-mortems and capacity planning.
• Instrument systems with metrics/logs/traces to drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with Security and GRC on SOC 2 / ISO 27001 requirements.
• Automate repetitive ops work and develop self-service tooling and runbooks.
