Job summary

EC Property Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Development Monitoring Surveyor for the North West or Yorkshire. You will handle development monitoring across residential schemes valued from £500k to £50m, with the potential to work on hotel and commercial projects for variety.

The salary range is £55,000-£65,000 at Senior Surveyor level, plus typically £5,000-£10,000 bonus, 28 days’ leave and a pension. MRICS qualification or progress towards it is welcome; strong report writing and lender liaison

Qualifications

• Development monitoring experience or exposure in related roles.
• Strong grasp of costs, delivery and associated risks.
• Clear, confident report writing for funders.
• Ability to explain issues and implications to lenders.

Responsibilities

• Visit developments, review costs and programmes.
• Assess progress and drawdown requests for lenders.
• Provide risk-focused lender guidance and decisions.
• Manage lender relationships with an experienced team.
• Cover the North West, Yorkshire and wider North of England.
