Job summary

Platform4 is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead major development projects in the region, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing budgets and stakeholders, and contributing to the regional pipeline origination.

The role requires autonomy, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to work across public and private partners. Hybrid working is offered, with applications welcomed from nearby major cities and commuting distance to York or London.

Qualifications

• Qualified with RICS/RTPI or equivalent, with demonstrable industry experience.
• Proven track record delivering development/regeneration projects across the lifecycle.
• Strong commercial acumen including appraisals and cashflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of development projects from planning through completion, managing programme, budget, quality and stakeholders.
• Lead multi-disciplinary consultant teams and professional advisers.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities and bring to the attention of the Regional Director.
• Build relationships with planning authorities, local stakeholders and partners.
• Mentor Regional Director and develop junior colleagues; ensure governance and statutory compliance.
