Job summary

Capstone Recruitment UK is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead a portfolio of residential Build to Rent projects in London and regional cities. You will oversee the development lifecycle from pre-planning through delivery, managing teams and external partners to execute ambitious schemes.

You will leverage substantial experience in development with a focus on BTR, forward-funding structures, and sustainability initiatives, contributing to a growing UK platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a strong track record delivering significant residential projects.
• Detailed understanding of the development and construction process, including planning, technical design, procurement and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing the existing development team.
• Leading projects across the full development lifecycle.
• Managing direct development projects both pre and post-planning.
• Overseeing forward-funded developments and joint venture partners.
• Leading technical due diligence on new opportunities.
• Managing professional teams and external stakeholders.
• Working alongside the investment team on development appraisals and financial modelling.
