Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd seeks a Development Manager to lead cradle-to-grave BTR and HMO development in West London. You will design and implement systems, processes, and governance to scale a small investor into a major developer.

You will own end-to-end delivery from land appraisal to handover, manage budgets and teams, and work with leadership to build infrastructure, reporting, and playbooks for rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Proven cradle-to-grave development experience, ideally including BTR/HMO.
• Strong construction delivery and programme management understanding.
• Commercial acumen with cost planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development lifecycle from feasibility through delivery and handover.
• Design and implement development management systems and reporting frameworks.
• Build and mentor a growing operations/delivery team.

Education

MRICS / CIOB or equivalent
