Job summary

Scottish Borders Housing Association is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead its affordable housing development programme in the Scottish Borders, with a focus on delivering high-quality, value-for-money homes.

You will oversee the pre-contract development lifecycle, including feasibility, planning, funding and governance, and work closely with the Construction Manager to monitor programme performance.

Qualifications

• At least five years' senior-level experience in affordable housing development, regeneration or a similar field.
• Strong leadership, commercial, financial and analytical skills.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and prepare governance reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract development lifecycle for new-build and major refurbishment projects, incl. feasibility, planning, funding and procurement strategy.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement, risk management and programme governance.
• Maintain strategic oversight of programme and financial performance with Construction Manager.
