Job Opportunity: Senior Development Chemist

CK Group is recruiting for a Senior Development Chemist to join a leading adhesives manufacturer serving the marine and construction industries.

This role is based at their site in Romsey, Hampshire.

Working Hours

08:30 – 16:30, Monday - Friday. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Formulate epoxy systems, primarily for adhesive and composite applications.
• Analyze experimental results and prepare technical service reports.
• Assess the suitability of alternative raw materials in existing formulations.
• Test mechanical properties of materials.

Candidate Background

• Degree, preferably a PhD, in Chemistry or a Polymer-related field, with practical experience in epoxy formulation.
• Experience with epoxy systems, polyurethane chemistry, or related knowledge.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
