Job summary

Dura Composites Ltd. in Clacton-on-Sea is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to take the technical lead on complex bespoke projects from concept through fabrication, installation and final completion.

You will apply structural knowledge and DfMA principles to create safe, buildable and commercially viable solutions while mentoring junior designers and coordinating with Project Managers, Engineering, Production and Installation teams.

Qualifications

Senior Designer with ability to lead complex bespoke projects from concept to completion.
Strong knowledge of structural design, DfMA and fabrication processes.
Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities

Lead complex bespoke projects from concept through to fabrication, installation and close-out.
Manage priorities, deliverables, risks and design programmes for timely delivery.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Production and Installation teams.
Act as the primary technical authority for allocated projects.
Provide technical guidance and drawing reviews for Designers.
