Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Senior Design Services Manager based in Raynesway (Derby) to lead the consultant-led waste treatment and bioresources design programme. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Services Manager based in Raynesway (Derby)within our Waste Treatment & Bioresources Design Team.
You’ll perform the role of a Senior Design Services Manager and deliver the consultant led waste treatment and bioresources design programme. You’ll play a key role in leading and managing the project team and project lifecycle, from promotion through to completion of the outline design, ensuring all project deliverables are achieved on time, within cost and to agreed quality standards.
Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a technical engineering discipline or a qualified Project Manager with the APM (Association of Project Managers) or working towards completing these achievements. Experience of managing NEC projects and be a forward thinking and innovative project manager capable of managing multiple complex engineering design projects would be required.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds is advantageous. You’ll have a strong focus on continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and respond effectively to unexpected issues and challenges.
A full UK driving licence will be required.
