Severn Trent Plc is hiring an Assistant Design Engineer to support the design of mains renewal projects across the Midlands. You’ll work with Design Engineers on packages from feasibility to detailed design, using CAD or BIM and site visits as needed.
You’ll contribute to safe, cost-effective solutions, produce design documentation, and collaborate with internal and external experts while travelling within the UK on a regular basis.

We are looking for a Assistant Design Engineer to join our team and support the design of technical solutions for Severn Trent Water Mains Renewal Programmes. Including projects from the feasibility stage all the way through to detailed design.
As our new Assistant Design Engineer, you’ll be working alongside Design Engineers to design and deliver design packages that the programme and construction teams will take forward and construct, utilising desktop studies, site visits and peer reviews.
For this role the right candidate will have experience in using CAD or BIM and will have had exposure to CDM regulations within design.
As travel is required, you’ll also have to hold a full U.K driving license.
