Carrington West seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead design activities for major water and wastewater projects across East Anglia for Anglian Water. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, manage external consultants and ensure designs are robust, buildable and aligned with project objectives.

You will drive design planning, risk management and stakeholder collaboration, focusing on value engineering, safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or water/wastewater projects.
• Strong track record in Design Management on major infrastructure schemes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing external consultants.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage design activities across major water and wastewater infrastructure schemes.
• Lead internal design resources and external consultants to meet standards, programme and budget.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, construction teams and client to align design with delivery objectives.
• Drive design coordination across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines.
• Develop and monitor design programmes and manage risks and interfaces.
• Champion value engineering and design optimisation to improve whole-life value.
