Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure schemes in the UK. You will drive delivery through innovative methods, manage design teams, and ensure constructability and commissioning are embedded in design thinking.

You will mentor engineers, lead stakeholder engagement and contribute to business growth within a flexible, hybrid working environment across Jacobs offices and project sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC3/4 contracts and change control.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and processes.
• Strong ability to communicate complex issues to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with technical standards and UK CDM regulations.
• Lead value engineering, value management and buildability.
• Oversee design management, scheduling, risk mitigation and forecasting.
• Mentor engineers and project teams; develop client relationships and drive growth.
