Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to work with the Energy Team on the National Grid, ETP Framework in Cariff and South Wales.
You will lead the design delivery for major National Grid 400kV/132kV substations, manage tender/ECI stages, and coordinate HV Plant, Protection and Control, HV Cables, Overhead Lines and Civils.
You will ensure CDM 2015 compliance, drive design process improvements and support project planning and procurement functions.
Qualificações
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary design packages in power or transmission projects.
- Experience as Principal Designer Representative under CDM 2015.
- Experience delivering substation projects for UK TSOs is desirable.
- Membership of a UK Engineering Institute.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the engineering design delivery of National Grid 400kV and 132kV substation projects.
- Lead design management at tender and ECIs, allocating resources across stages.
- Integrate HV Plant, Protection & Control, HV Cables, OHL and Civils from internal and external designers.
- Ensure design information is managed and compliant with CDM 2015, monitor standards and client requirements.
