Bouygues Travaux Publics SA is seeking an experienced Design Manager to oversee the design information across Sizewell C's Main Civil Works packages. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical and contractual compliance, and drive design risk management and value engineering.

The role focuses on complex civil/structural design, interface management, and integration with procurement, manufacturing and site construction, across London and Ipswich locations.

Qualificações

• Degree-level qualification in engineering, construction or design.
• At least five years of professional experience, including a minimum of three years in design management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary designers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of steelwork and concrete design.
• Familiarity with BIM and 3D design environments.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and whole-life cost principles.
• Ability to interpret project information and monitor progress.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate development, review, control and delivery of design information across assigned packages.
• Manage design interfaces among client, construction teams, designers and supply chain.
• Ensure designs meet technical, safety and contractual requirements and programme.
• Lead design optimisation, option studies and value engineering.
• Monitor progress, resources and performance with clear reporting to leadership.
• Oversee management of design risks, changes and technical actions through close-out.
• Promote BIM and 3D design integration across the project.
