Job Role: Architectural Design Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Architectural Design Manager to oversee project design development, ensuring alignment with company and client expectations, and managing contractual obligations. The role involves providing creative architectural solutions, in-house design advice, and bid support across the business. The position will be site-based at a secure facility / public sector project.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Review design resources and plan workload management for the team.
2. Liaise with internal and external resources appropriately.
3. Develop the design function to improve continuously and foster innovation and best practices within ISG.
4. Build and maintain relationships with clients and project management teams.
5. Collaborate with project teams, clients, advisors, and consultants.
6. Manage design relationships between the company, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and statutory bodies, acting as the point of contact on all design matters.
7. Develop and incorporate the design programme and information flow into the overall project schedule. Create RFIs for information requests.
8. Review project design inputs, processes, and outputs regularly to ensure compliance and undertake corrective actions as necessary, ensuring due diligence.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for space planning and detailing.
• Experience in retail and office project design, with client liaison skills.
• Self-motivated and dynamic thinker.
• Strong knowledge of both 2D and 3D design, with experience in client presentation production.
• Demonstrated leadership as a design lead.
