Cadent is seeking a Design & Assurance Manager to lead design assurance across a portfolio of major infrastructure projects, from concept through construction, ensuring safety, compliance and quality. You'll collaborate with engineering, safety and commercial teams, manage design contractor performance, and promote safety by design while driving continuous improvement across the program.

Formación

• HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline (minimum requirement).
• Degree in an Engineering discipline (desirable).
• Professional Registration (EngTech, IEng or CEng) desirable or working towards.
• IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Lead design assurance activities across the full project lifecycle.
• Work with internal stakeholders, design consultants, contractors and project teams to ensure robust and compliant engineering solutions.
• Oversee early project development through to construction handover, ensuring effective planning, design and governance.
• Provide engineering guidance on technical queries, deviations and design challenges.
• Manage design contractor performance to high engineering and design delivery standards.
• Promote Safety by Design principles throughout project development.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Assurance, Commercial, Project Delivery and external partners to achieve successful outcomes.
