Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is assisting a client to recruit a Senior Deputy Nursery Manager in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering high-quality childcare, supporting EYFS implementation and safeguarding across a bespoke nursery setting.

The successful candidate will oversee planning, records, and staff communications, while maintaining strong partnerships with parents, Local Authority bodies and other agencies.

Qualifications

• Childcare/education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3.
• Experience managing a room or team within a nursery setting.
• A formal management qualification is desirable though not essential.
• Solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Sound safeguarding procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS, including planning and record keeping.
• Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
• Develop professional relationships with Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in childcare policies and practices.
• Assist the Manager with nursery accounts and management information per company procedures.
• Assist with staff and parent meetings and other events.
