Job summary

Spectrum Brands (UK) Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Demand Planner in Greater Manchester to own end-to-end demand planning for assigned markets and customers. You will develop forecasts, lead demand reviews with Sales, Marketing and Commercial teams and align plans with supply constraints and commercial priorities.

You will coach junior planners, drive improvements in forecasting methodologies and support the S&OP process using SAP, SAP IBP, Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Demand Planning experience.
• Strong S&OP experience.
• SAP, SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP experience or similar.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Strong forecasting, statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience with Far East/long lead-time suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end demand planning for assigned markets, categories and customers.
• Develop accurate statistical and collaborative forecasts using data and insight.
• Lead demand reviews with Sales, Marketing and Commercial teams.
• Manage demand inputs including promotions, launches and activity.
• Identify risks and opportunities and ensure accurate NPI and phase-out forecasting.
• Support consensus forecast and contribute to the S&OP process.
• Drive forecast governance and align with planning standards.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning and Finance.
• Analyse forecast accuracy and root causes, implementing improvements.
• Coach Demand Planners and deputise for the Demand Planning Manager.
• Develop KPI reporting using SAP/IBP, Excel and Power BI.
