The Senior Delivery Practice Manager (SDPM) - Global Accounts is a key people management role within the ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT). They play a crucial role in bridging our sales and delivery teams ensuring we are able to meet our customer objectives. They work in close collaboration with the CST team, ensuring the delivery capabilities through technical validation during the pre-sales stage. The DPMs ensure successful project delivery by leading a team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers, fostering long-term customer relationships while supporting enterprise customers through transformative IT projects. They combine strong people leadership skills with deep technical expertise.
To achieve the desired outcomes for this role, DPMs must be comfortable managing a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers, and supporting AWS enterprise customers through a variety of transformative projects. DPMs bring diverse people leadership experience gained within an IT and/or Management Consulting background and knowledge of industry IT. They leverage this credibility as a strategic advisor to sellers, customers, and partners. They can craft an innovative, forward-looking strategy while clearly outlining the investment and multi-step go-to-market plan necessary to help our customers lead the changes to IT strategy, policies, processes, people, governance, and partnerships.
DPMs are responsible for building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions. They routinely engage with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards. They are responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery. They work closely with partner teams; drive business development initiatives through thought leadership; provide portfolio guidance and oversight; and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. DPMs are primarily focused directly or through their teams, on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and SOWs.
