Role: Senior Delivery Manager
Length: 6-month contract
Location: Hybrid / London or Sheffield 2-3 days per week
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Pay Rate: £550 - £650 per day

One of my public sector clients is currently looking for a Senior Delivery Manager. They are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join them on a hybrid basis with travel to their offices in London or Sheffield 2/3 times per week. This engagement will run for a 6-month contract.

They are interested in Delivery Managers with experience in working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams.

Role Requirements:

• Technical knowledge - sufficient to navigate and facilitate technical discussions with the team, and to manage technical dependencies with third parties.
• Public Sector - strong experience working for public sector clients.
• Agile and Lean Practices - coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices, act as a recognised expert and advocate for the approaches, continuously reflecting and challenging the team.
• Communicating Between the Technical and Non-Technical - mediate between people and mend relationships, communicating with stakeholders at all levels, manage stakeholder expectations and moderate discussions about high risk and complexity.
• Maintaining Delivery Momentum - optimise the delivery flow of teams and actively address the most complicated risks, issues and dependencies.
• Team Dynamics and Collaboration - identify problems or issues in the team dynamic and rectify them, identify issues through Agile 'health checks' with the team, and help to stimulate the right responses, engage in varying types of feedback.
• Planning - lead a continual planning process in a very complex environment, plan beyond product delivery, identify dependencies in plans across services and coordinate delivery, coach other teams as the central point of expertise.
• Leadership - Engage others in delivering a shared vision, and coach, mentor and guide the team and stakeholders.
