Senior Delivery Manager

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of their flagship AI reporting product – a live, public-facing digital tool.

The client

They’re looking for this Senior Delivery Manager to lead the delivery team, improve team health, identify bottlenecks, optimise ways of working, and support the team as the product scales.

The role

You’ll:

• Manage up to 5 Delivery Managers and 5 Junior Delivery Managers (previous people management preferred, but flexible)
• Be the driving force behind Agile practices—deciding between Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid model depending on team needs
• Report to the Lead Delivery Manager and collaborate across a delivery function of ~16 DMs
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Product, Design, Tech) and stakeholders to ensure user needs remain front and centre

The candidate

Your experience?

They’re looking for someone with a track record of delivering large-scale and budget products/services, preferably within a government or local council environment.

• Confident working on complex projects across multi-disciplinary teams
• Deep understanding of Agile ways of working
• Comfortable with AI-led projects (no deep knowledge needed)
• Experience in GDS and/or DDaT frameworks is desirable
• A user first mindset, with experience advocating for end users
