Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a registered nurse for a Clinical Team Lead role across Scotland, supporting Our Future Health. The post is mobile and multi-site, offering variety and autonomy in community clinics.

Ideal candidates are experienced Band 6/7 nurses or Band 5 nurses with leadership or supervisory experience, willing to travel between sites across Scotland and lead Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists while remaining hands-on.

Qualifications

• Nurse must have current registration and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience taking blood samples.
• Leadership or supervisory experience (formal or informal).
• Full manual driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Be aged 25 or over.
• PVG background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to HCAs and Phlebotomists.
• Oversee clinical governance, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate staffing, attendance and daily clinic flow.

Clinical Lead nurse - Scotland - Our Future Health

Location: Scotland region

Medacs healthcare are recruiting registered nurses for a Clinical Team Lead role supporting Our Future Health, the UK's largest health research programme. This is a mobile, multi‑site role across Scotland, ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy, and working across different community locations.

The role is suitable for experienced Band 6/7 nurses, or Band 5 nurses with leadership or supervisory experience who are ready to step up into a clinical leadership position. Nurses who are flexible to travel across multiple sites will be particularly well suited.

This is a nurse‑led, patient‑facing leadership role, where you'll provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight while remaining hands‑on within community clinic environments.

You will lead and support Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists delivering health screening clinics as part of Our Future Health. Clinics operate across Scotland

You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, high‑quality care, a positive participant experience, and consistent standards across sites. Flexibility to travel between locations will allow you to maximise available shifts and variety in your work.

Flexible working available - 1-2 shifts per week up to full time:

Monday to Friday: 7.45am - 6.15pm

Saturday: 8.45am - 5.15pm

Sunday: 10.45am - 3.45pm
