Job summary

Elekta in Crawley is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex software, hardware, or product development programmes within an Agile environment. You will partner with Product Management, Engineering and Architecture to align roadmaps and delivery objectives across multiple teams.

The role requires strong SAFe/Scrum expertise, excellent leadership and stakeholder management, and a track record delivering regulated healthcare technology.

What You’ll Do At Elekta

• Lead the planning and delivery of complex product releases and programmes across multiple Agile teams.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams to align roadmaps, priorities, and delivery objectives.
• Drive Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resource demands to ensure successful product delivery.
• Coach and support teams in Agile ways of working, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide clear reporting on delivery progress, opportunities, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Elekta's product lifecycle processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor delivery performance, budgets, and key metrics to drive successful outcomes across the portfolio.

What You’ll Bring

• Significant experience leading complex software, hardware, or product development programmes within an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or similar methodologies, with experience facilitating large-scale planning events.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and priorities within a complex technical environment.
• Experience delivering products within regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated sectors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant Agile, Project Management, or SAFe certifications and a degree in a related discipline are advantageous.
