Job summary

Elekta is seeking a technically experienced trainer to design, develop, and deliver training programmes for its precision radiation therapy portfolio. The role involves hands-on classroom delivery, assessment, and collaboration with global teams to ensure high training quality.

The successful candidate will develop learning pathways for new product introductions, maintain materials, and travel up to 10% to support business needs across regions.

Qualifications

  • Higher education qualification in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience supporting, installing, or maintaining complex radiotherapy or medical technology systems, with interest in Elekta Unity MR‑Linac or similar tech.
  • Experience designing and delivering technical training programmes, including assessment and competency evaluation.
  • Excellent presentation, coaching, and knowledge-transfer skills across cultures and regions.

  • Design, develop, and deliver technical training programmes for Elekta's product portfolio.
  • Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on training to internal and external learners with assessments.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Global Service, regional support teams, and field engineers to identify training needs.
  • Develop training strategies and learning pathways for new product introductions and engineering updates.
  • Create and maintain training materials and resources, ensuring consistency globally.
  • Audit regional trainers to ensure training quality and standards.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and provide capability development recommendations.
  • Deliver training locally and internationally, up to 10% travel.

What You’ll Do At Elekta
  • Design, develop, and deliver technical training programmes supporting Elekta’s current and future product portfolio.
  • Deliver engaging classroom and hands‑on technical training to internal and external learners, including practical and theoretical assessments.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Global Service, regional support teams, and field engineers to identify and address evolving training needs.
  • Develop training strategies and learning pathways for new product introductions and engineering updates.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve technical training materials, documentation, and learning resources.
  • Qualify, support, and audit regional technical trainers to ensure consistent training quality and standards globally.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and provide recommendations to support workforce capability development.
  • Deliver training locally and internationally, including travel of up to 10% globally to support business and customer needs.
What You’ll Bring

Higher education qualification in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Strong engineering knowledge covering areas such as electrical, electronic, mechanical, vacuum, radiation, and fault‑finding principles. Experience supporting, installing, or maintaining complex radiotherapy or medical technology systems, with particular interest in candidates who have worked with Elekta Unity hardware, MR‑Linac technology, or have a strong field service engineering background within advanced healthcare equipment environments. Broad technical field service expertise with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support sophisticated hardware systems. Experience designing and delivering technical training programmes, including assessment and competency evaluation. Excellent presentation, coaching, and knowledge‑transfer skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences across different cultures and regions.
