Copello is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support a British Army training transformation programme in Warminster. You will manage subcontracting activities, lead contract negotiations and maintain strong supplier relationships to deliver against demanding objectives.

In a matrix environment you will influence stakeholders, drive commercial excellence and mentor junior staff, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to policies and requirements within a defence setting.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a STEM or business field.
• Experience in subcontract management, supplier engagement and contract execution.
• Experience managing subcontracting activities and contributing to planning.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contracts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.

Responsabilités

• Subcontract management of mid-sized contracts; aligns with programme goals.
• Lead negotiations on contracts, NDAs and terms and conditions.
• Build supplier relationships, monitor performance, drive improvements.
• Manage subcontracting activities and smaller projects autonomously.
• Apply subcontracting knowledge to resolve issues and support decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and military partners.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve subcontract management processes.
• Own day-to-day commercial objectives and programme delivery.
