Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a seasoned Subcontract Manager to lead moderately sized subcontracting projects for the British Army within a hybrid environment based in Warminster.

You will report to the OMNIA Training and Raytheon UK Commercial teams, shaping procurement strategy, driving collaboration across suppliers, and delivering value through effective contract management in a defence training context.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of subcontract management and contract execution.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Manage Subcontractors / Suppliers with moderately sized contracts (£50 - £100m) with minimal oversight.
• Act as a Subcontracts subject-matter expert, contributing to the development of operational plans, budgets, and goals.
• Solve complex problems with the supply chain through analysis and prior experience.
• Negotiate contracts, NDAs and terms and conditions.
• Drive improvements in processes, systems or products to enhance performance across departments.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to influence policies and practices.
• Coach and delegate work to junior staff to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Provide input into new solutions, projects, or standards in support of strategy.
