Job summary

Capita is recruiting a Senior Educator to lead teacher training and coaching across Royal Navy education initiatives. You will deliver a Level 3/4 education framework, observe teaching for development, and drive CPD for defence trainers in a dynamic, security-cleared environment.

Candidates should hold a Level 4 Education and Training certificate, bring adult learning experience, and be proficient with digital methods and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent) required.
• Experience in adult learning sector beneficial.
• Passion for delivering training and developing people.
• Experience with digital learning methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively and IT proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a teacher training and assessment programme including the QCF Level 3 Award in Education and Training and Care of Trainees.
• Conduct teaching observations to support Ofsted requirements and teacher development.
• Deliver an education and training CPD programme to Defence Trainers (military and civilian).
• Support coaching and mentoring services for staff and trainee development.
• Provide expertise for educational projects to meet future training needs.
