Job summary

Arguile, a leading defence-focused organisation in the UK, is seeking a proactive Senior Commercial Manager to drive commercial performance across a portfolio of complex contracts. You will negotiate, develop contracts and manage in-life changes, with access to senior stakeholders across the business.

The role is hands-on, requiring strong risk assessment, contract governance, pricing and cash flow insights, plus ability to influence senior management and coordinate with MOD/DOD contracts where

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial management and complex contracting.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience handling full contract lifecycle from negotiation to close.
• Excellent understanding of commercial risk, pricing, margins and financial impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of key defence contracts across the portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development & Bid Management functions.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with major customers, suppliers and government entities.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risk and contractual risk across programs.
• Manage contractual change, claims, opportunities and obligations.
• Provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders and exec teams.
• Support pricing, cash flow analysis and broader commercial decision-making.
• Drive improvements in governance, compliance and contractual processes.
