Arguile is seeking an experienced Subcontract Manager in the Defence sector. You will lead the commercial management of supplier relationships, negotiating subcontracts and managing performance across major defence programmes while working in a hybrid, flexible environment.

The role requires extensive subcontract/contract management experience, UK MOD or defence exposure, and strong negotiation skills. Expect collaboration with project, technical, and procurement teams to optimise programme

Qualifikationen

• Experience in subcontract/contract management within Defence or regulated engineering environments.
• Knowledge of UK MOD/public-sector procurement processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance measurement.

Aufgaben

• Negotiate subcontracts, including flow-down requirements, to support budgets and objectives.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts and service agreements to ensure terms are met.
• Support make-vs-buy decisions and contribute to sourcing strategies.
• Develop and issue Statements of Work with technical and project teams.
• Attend supplier meetings on-site and at supplier premises.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial and compliance risks.
• Advise Project Managers on supplier performance and contractual matters.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues and maximise programme opportunities.
