Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is sourcing a DCS Engineer (Programming / Configuration) for a Warrington, Cheshire based senior role with a global OEM. You will oversee Distributed Control Systems and Safety Instrumented Systems projects from concept to completion.

The position offers hybrid working (2–3 days in the Warrington office), offshore site visits, a car allowance (£8,000), a 10% bonus, a 12% pension and private healthcare, with a 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off).

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) on large projects.
• Knowledge of programming or configuring DCS/SIS.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
• Configuring, programming and commissioning DCS & SIS.
• Being the main point of contact for clients.
• Hybrid working from a Warrington based office (2-3 days per week).
• 9 day working fortnight – every other Friday off.
• Visiting client sites in the UK and offshore.
