Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is representing a global OEM in recruiting a senior Control Systems Project Engineer to oversee Distributed Control Systems and SIS projects from concept to commissioning. You will be the face of the business, manage client relationships and visit sites including offshore locations as required.

Are you a Control Systems Engineer with a background in overseeing projects from cradle to grave looking for a senior position within a global OEM that will recognise your expertise through autonomy in a client facing position?

Do you want to work with a multi-billion pound business that pioneered their technical niche and can offer expert training on their proprietary control software to enable your technical development?

On offer is the change to join a global OEM in a senior engineering position, where you'll be responsible for overseeing complex distributed control system project within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and process engineering spaces. This will include being the face of the business, managing projects from concept to commission and visiting client sites. Some of the work will be on off-shore platforms, with full training granted.

This role would suit a Control Systems Engineer looking to manage complex Distributed Control System projects from concept to completion who is looking for recognition as a technical expert, autonomy and an excellent package.

The Role:

• Managing projects for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
• Configuring, Programming and Commissioning DCS & SIS
• Being the main point of contact for clients
• Hybrid working from a Warrington based office (2-3 days per week)
• 9 day working fortnight - every other Friday off
• Visiting client sites in the UK and off-shore

The Person:

• Control Systems Engineer or similar
• Experience working on projects from concept to completion
• Full UK Drivers Licence
