Ernest Gordon Recruitment is representing a global OEM seeking a senior DCS Engineer to lead distributed control system projects from concept to completion.

The role covers configuring, programming, and commissioning DCS and SIS, acting as main client contact, with hybrid work from our Warrington office (2-3 days per week) and occasional offshore/site visits across the UK. A strong background in safety systems and project management is essential.

Are you a DCS Engineer or similar with knowledge of Programming or Configuring distributed control systems looking to join a global OEM that can offer a senior, autonomous, position working on projects from concept to completion?

Do you want to further your technical development in a role that will further push you to learn Safety Instrumented Systems and gain Functional Safety qualifications?

On offer is the change to join a global OEM in a senior engineering position, where you’ll be responsible for overseeing complex distributed control system project within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and process engineering spaces. This will include being the face of the business, managing projects from concept to commission and visiting client sites. Some of the work will be on off-shore platforms, with full training granted.

This role would suit a DCS Engineer or similar looking to manage complex Distributed Control System projects from concept to completion who is looking for recognition as a technical expert, autonomy and an excellent package.

The Role:

• Managing projects for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
• Configuring, Programming and Commissioning DCS & SIS
• Being the main point of contact for clients
• Hybrid working from a Warrington based office (2-3 days per week)
• 9 day working fortnight – every other Friday off
• Visiting client sites in the UK and off-shore

The Person:

• DCS Engineer or similar
• Experience working on projects from concept to completion
• Full UK Drivers Licence
