• Build high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) systems.
• Ensure uptime for OLTP databases.
• Review and prepare database deployments.
• Stay updated on industry best practices.
• Provide hands-on design, development, and code reviews.
• Possess in-depth SQL Server architecture knowledge.
• Collaborate within a team and provide after-hours support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of SQL Engineering/Administration experience (SQL Server 2012+).
• Strong SQL Server architecture and optimization skills.
• Automation and scripting expertise (PowerShell, VBScript, T-SQL).
• Knowledge of storage systems and replication technologies.
• Familiarity with security and encryption.
