Job description

My client is a leading pensions firm and they are currently recruiting for a number of defined benefit pension administrators across all levels, working hybrid from Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role involves managing a portfolio of DB schemes and working at the forefront of the team, with opportunities to develop within other teams such as trustee and consulting.

The roles are due to increased business, and the successful applicant will be a key member of the team, managing your own set of DB/DC schemes. Previous technical experience in defined benefit, final salary pensions, or DC schemes is essential. Some experience in client management within pensions is also required. Professional qualifications such as progress towards PMI are desirable but not essential.

You will be working with clients who have a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle-to-grave pensions administration, a thorough understanding of scheme rules, current legislation, and project management skills are required. Your work may include some client-facing responsibilities as your experience increases, if you wish.
