As part of their expanding Data & AI division, they are seeking a Senior Data Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, high-impact data solutions.

About the Role

This role requires a highly skilled Data Solution Architect with experience in Microsoft Fabric, the Microsoft data and BI stack, and strong expertise in documenting tender responses, preparing bid proposals, and presenting technical solutions.

You will work closely with clients to design enterprise-grade data solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices. You will also play a key role in guiding technical teams and ensuring the quality of data assets and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power BI.
• Lead and document tender responses, bid proposals, and technical solution presentations for clients.
• Present data strategies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in data architecture, modelling, and governance.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of data and BI solutions using Microsoft's modern data platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI specialists, and project managers to deliver successful projects.
• Support business development efforts, articulating the value of data-driven solutions in pre-sales engagements.
• Stay updated on Microsoft Fabric and evolving trends in data analytics, AI, and cloud-based architectures.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 6-7 years of experience in data solution delivery, with at least 1-2 years in a solutions architecture role.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Power BI.
• Highly experienced in SQL or SQL extensions for analytical use case.
• Experience documenting tender responses and preparing bid proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage business and technical teams.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, governance, and enterprise data strategies.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and implement best practices.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with availability to travel between Dublin and Belfast as needed.
• Exceptional spoken and written English skills , with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas.
