Data Solutions Architect (Azure)

We are seeking a visionary Data Solutions Architect to design and implement data-driven systems at scale. This role combines technical expertise and leadership to develop high-quality data solutions that align with client needs.

Your primary focus will be on leveraging modern data platforms, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem, to deliver impactful results.

As a key member of the team, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring all stakeholders understand the transformative power of data. You'll also guide the technical team through the lifecycle of data solutions, from conception to deployment, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Partner with clients to identify how data can drive value, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Take ownership of data solution design and development, overseeing coding, testing, and defect resolution as a technical lead.
• Actively contribute to the creation of solution components, employing hands-on development skills.
• Define and translate business requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring clarity across multidisciplinary teams.
• Optimize solution performance, manage costs, and lead testing efforts for data pipelines and reporting systems.
• Provide technical expertise to estimate efforts, assess impacts, and manage the development backlog from ideation to delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with executive-level stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in data technologies, sharing insights on trends, tools, and practices to benefit both teams and clients.
• Champion continuous improvement processes and advocate for best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in data-focused roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing solutions using Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI, or other ETL tools.
• Familiarity with advanced platforms like Microsoft Fabric or Databricks is strongly .
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams, including architects, engineers, and analysts, to deliver data-centric projects.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL or its extensions for analytical applications.
• Strong knowledge of distributed data systems and frameworks for processing large-scale data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical designs to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in building analytical and operational data models.
• Background in enterprise data architecture, engineering, or analytics, with a proven history of delivering solutions such as data warehousing, operational reporting, or business intelligence systems.
• Azure or Databricks certifications are a plus.
