Axiom Path, Inc. is seeking a senior governance professional to strengthen Insider Risk and data protection across a large, regulated financial services environment.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, risk, and legal teams to translate governance requirements into practical controls and executive-level reporting. You will influence data classification, encryption, and data handling policies while supporting risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in cybersecurity, governance, or data protection within regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of data classification, data loss prevention, encryption, and secure data handling.
• Experience with information security governance frameworks, policies, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on involvement in risk assessments, control validation, audit responses, or regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance, and operationalization of Insider Risk governance policies and control frameworks.
• Ensure information protection and data security controls align with governance requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Define governance requirements for internal systems and third-party relationships supporting Insider Risk activities.
• Partner with cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, legal, risk, audit, and technology teams to embed security requirements into processes.
• Support risk assessments, control validation, audit requests, assurance reviews, and regulatory reporting related to data protection.
