Job summary

La Fosse is partnering with a global technology organisation to hire a Senior Data Scientist into a growing AI & Data team. This is an opportunity to join a business investing heavily in AI, where you'll design and deploy Generative AI and ML solutions delivering measurable commercial value.

You'll work with an experienced AI team to shape technical direction, build production-ready solutions, and mentor others while applying modern MLOps practices across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with commercial experience delivering machine learning solutions.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications and Generative AI solutions, including RAG, vector databases and prompt engineering.
• Experience deploying AI models into production using modern MLOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern AI tooling such as Databricks, Azure AI or Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-ready Generative AI and machine learning solutions.
• Develop LLM applications, RAG pipelines, semantic search and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Work across the full AI lifecycle, from experimentation through to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Apply both classical machine learning and modern GenAI techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams and senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact AI initiatives.
