Job summary

La Fosse is partnering with a global technology organisation to hire a Senior Data Scientist into a growing AI & Data team. This role focuses on designing and deploying Generative AI and ML solutions that deliver measurable commercial value.

You'll work with experienced AI specialists to shape technical direction, influence AI strategy and build production-ready solutions using the latest AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with commercial ML experience.
• Hands-on experience building LLM apps and Generative AI solutions (RAG, vector databases, prompts).
• Experience deploying AI models in production using modern MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-ready Generative AI and ML solutions.
• Develop LLM applications, RAG pipelines, semantic search and intelligent automation.
• Work across the full AI lifecycle from experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
• Apply classical ML and GenAI techniques to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams and senior stakeholders to deliver AI initiatives.
• Mentor other data scientists and help define best practices across AI engineering and MLOps.
