Babcock is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead analytics projects at our Stoke Gifford, Bristol site. You will develop Python-based software and modelling solutions to support UK defence planning and decision making.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll have the opportunity to lead innovative software development, modelling and analytics projects that support one of the UK's most important defence programmes. Working at the heart of strategic submarine maintenance and disposal planning for the Royal Navy, you'll use advanced analytics and Python-based solutions to help inform critical business and operational decisions.
This role is based at Bristol and is 35 hours per week. Set working times are 7.5 hours Monday to Thursday and 5 hours on Friday, finishing at 12pm
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
