Job summary

St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice is seeking an experienced Data Protection Officer to provide independent expert advice on data protection, privacy and information governance across the organisation, including patient, retail, fundraising and third-party information.

As the Trust's nominated DPO, you will lead on UK GDPR compliance, work with the Board, SIRO and Caldicott Guardian, and deliver training while visiting bases and retail units across Lincolnshire.

Qualifications

• Significant information governance and data protection experience.
• Understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to advise clinicians and staff on data protection matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead data protection policy development and information governance.
• Manage information governance risks and subject access requests.
• Oversee GDPR breaches and annual toolkit submission.
• Deliver face-to-face training across the organisation.
