Job summary

Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is assisting a client in Ashford, Kent to appoint an experienced Data Protection Manager. The role oversees the operational delivery of data protection and information governance, ensuring UK GDPR compliance and acting as the internal expert on all data protection matters.

Working with senior leadership, you will lead DPIAs, privacy notices, and governance programs while promoting a culture of compliance across IT, security, and business units.

Qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
• Experience managing DSARs and FOI requests.
• Experience developing information governance policies and procedures.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of data protection and information governance across the organisation.
• Manage DSARs, FOI requests and information governance processes.
• Lead DPIAs, privacy notices and information sharing agreements.
• Develop, implement and review information governance policies.
