You will work with senior stakeholders, the Data Protection Officer, and IT teams to ensure UK GDPR compliance, policy development, and continuous improvement. Relevant qualifications and healthcare experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Data Protection, Information Governance or Compliance role.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
• Experience managing SARs, FOI requests and DPIAs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
• Organised with attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Lead data protection and information governance activities across the organisation.
• Manage SARs, FOI requests and DPIAs.
• Develop, review and maintain information governance policies and procedures.
• Provide expert advice on data protection and governance matters.
• Support compliance with DSPT and cyber security initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams on information security and incident response.
• Deliver training and raise awareness across the organisation.
• Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
