Senior Data Product Owner

We are transforming our core capabilities to deliver exceptional customer and business outcomes through Data and Digital transformation initiatives. Data is at the heart of both our transformation programme and long-term business strategies - having high quality customer data that is mastered centrally enables the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and business outcomes across Aviva.

Therefore, we are excited to be recruiting a Senior Product Owner for Customer Identity into our Customer Data team, that is part of the Customer & Marketing Chief Data Office. In this role, you will lead the delivery of the next wave of enhancements to our new cloud-native Master Data Management (MDM) solution for customers that underpins a wide range of digital, operational, marketing and analytical use cases.

A bit about the job:

The role requires a skilled data and change practitioner with solid business acumen and a proven track record of aligning product visions and objectives with strategic business goals. Success in this role is driven by building effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, maximising value across both innovative initiatives and established business processes that depend on the Customer Identity product, delivered via a modern MDM solution.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven experience leading change and product delivery within complex environments, across both incremental improvements and transformational initiatives
• Excellent consultative and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, identify capability gaps, and drive alignment
• High intellectual curiosity with a strong passion for how data and technology solutions can solve business opportunities and challenges
• Strong understanding of data principles including the utilisation of data for operational, regulatory and strategic purposes
• Ability to achieve clarity of thought and well-defined outcomes amid ambiguous requirements or evolving opportunities

• Starting salary between £90,000 and £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
