Job summary

Teya, aiming to transform financial tooling for local businesses from its London base, seeks a Data Privacy & AI Governance Senior Analyst to shape privacy & AI governance as the company scales in Europe. You will join a multi-disciplinary team spanning Data Privacy, Data Management, Data Governance, and AI Governance, reporting to the Head of Data Privacy & AI Governance.

You will own day-to-day privacy operations, advise on data protection, and help implement AI governance across platforms,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in data privacy and/or data governance, in-house or consulting.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects and ownership of frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Ability to distil complex issues into audience-appropriate guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of global privacy regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day privacy processes such as RoPA, DPIA, and DSRs.
• Administer systems used (OneTrust, Jira).
• Drive rollout and governance of AI-enabled technology platforms.
• Provide guidance on data protection and privacy by design, cookies and consents.
• Codify guidance and deliver training to develop privacy and AI literacy.
• Identify opportunities to improve privacy operations and automate processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support projects and goals.
• Conduct re-assessments of high- and medium-risk data processing activities.
• Support review, assessment and negotiation of Data Protection Agreements.
