Job summary

Gigs is building the data backbone for a connected telecom-enabled future. As Senior Data Engineer, you’ll shape the data platform used across the company, balancing speed with correctness and long-term maintainability.

You’ll collaborate with Finance, Network Integration, Product, and other teams to deliver reliable data products. Expect a cross-functional role with the Head of Data steering the data strategy at Gigs.

Qualifications

• Designed and operated production data platforms.
• Strong data modeling fundamentals.
• Business value focus with pragmatic trade-offs.
• Able to handle ambiguity and deliver production solutions.
• Familiar with AI tools in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build systems that turn data into trustworthy datasets for billing, reporting, and product decisions.
• Build and operate the data platform and pipelines powering these use cases.
• Integrate data from across the business into a single, consistent platform.
• Own data model across the warehouse and set standards as we scale.
• Work primarily with Python and SQL, using Dagster; ensure observability and tests.
