Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead enterprise data and analytics initiatives, focusing on data fabric, warehouses, lakehouses, and reporting solutions. The role involves designing end-to-end data pipelines and enabling trusted insights across functions.

You will build Power BI dashboards, drive DataOps and governance, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams in a hybrid, UK-based environment with a focus on security clearance requirements.

Role Brief

We're working with a leading engineering and technology organisation looking to appoint a Senior Data Engineer to support the development of enterprise-wide data and analytics capabilities.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex data challenges, helping to transform information from multiple systems into trusted, business-critical insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT and streaming data pipelines
• Develop and optimise data platforms, warehouses, lakehouses, and reporting solutions
• Create Power BI dashboards and analytics to support business decision-making
• Drive data governance, quality, security, and best practices

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or other complex regulated environments would be advantageous
