Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a Data Engineer to own and evolve a Microsoft Fabric-based data platform in the United Kingdom. You will design and implement data pipelines, integrate SAP and other systems, and deliver reliable BI solutions using SQL and Power BI.

The role focuses on data quality, governance and scalable analytics, with opportunities to optimise and automate reporting processes across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering experience with Microsoft Fabric and data pipelines.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with data modelling, integration and API connectivity.
• Understanding of data governance, security and data quality.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Semantic Models.

Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an established, technology-driven organisation and take ownership of its Microsoft data platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Power BI, developing data pipelines, integrating business systems and delivering reliable data solutions to support reporting and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Semantic Models.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating SQL, SAP and other business systems.
• Manage data quality, governance, security and performance.
• Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Support SQL databases, including troubleshooting, migration and optimisation.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong Data Engineering experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Desirable:

• Power BI, DAX and semantic modelling.
